Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Water and Environment (WE) Department. This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful water infrastructure and environmental design projects across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. You’ll work with diverse teams from planning and design to construction and handover, contributing to world-class projects that shape communities.


We work across all sectors including, but not limited to: Real Estate and Strategic Planning (city planning, regional planning, tourism development and industrial zones), Environment (including utilities and renewable energies), Social Infrastructure (Education and Health), Transport etc. Projects span a number of geographies - notably the Middle East, Gulf region and Sub-Saharan Africa.


Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and model Water, Wastewater, Treatment plants, Storm water drainage, including the use of hydraulic modelling commercially available software.
  • Prepare design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address societal, economic, and environmental concerns.
  • Quickly learn and apply local design standards in various regions.
  • Collaborate on integrating systems into complete, constructible designs.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience in water and infrastructure design, using industry-standard software.
  • Proven track record in preparing detailed design documentation.
  • Strong understanding of water infrastructure challenges and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent English skills (Arabic, French, or Portuguese a plus).
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software.


Preferred Experience:

  • Water resources engineering and fast-track project experience.
  • Ability to create competitive project proposals.
  • Expertise in technical specification review and development.
