A 9 months+ opportunity for a Senior Project Manager Construction has arisen with the local authorities in Bristol.Pay rate of £361,44 PAYE or £405,00 Umbrella.Reporting into the Programme Manager, the Project Manager will deliver infrastructure projects for the West of England Combined Authority. This provides an opportunity to use your strong project management and collaboration skills to support our Transport, Infrastructure, Capital Delivery projects. To manage the development and delivery of infrastructure projects, or parts of projects from concept to physical delivery, and post opening evaluation. This will include strategic and capital projects. To monitor, report and provide support for projects funded by the Combined Authority and delivered by others. To support strong, collaborative partnerships with our supply chain as well as our Unitary Authority partners. To support the review and evaluation of projects in conjunction with the Combined Authority Head of PMO and Head of Grant Assurance.Skills and Experience:Professional project management qualification (e.g. APM/MSP/PRINCE2).Extensive project/programme management experience.Experience of local authority / combined authority / government working methods and processes.Experience of working in a complex stakeholder environment at a senior level.High level of project resource/financial management, including planning, forecasting and monitoring.Knowledge of UK engineering design and construction projects.Knowledge of the requirements of corporate and construction health and safety.Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.To apply please send your CV or email for mroe information.Disclaimer: By applying for this role, you give consent for your information to be forwarded to our Client(s) and information of which may be retained within our databases therefore also agreeing to be represented by i-jobs with respect of the vacancy you're applying
