Pallet Release Inspector

We are seeking a pallet release inspector to work for our client as part of their Quality department. This role will be ensuring that finished goods are pallet released for shipment to customers and assist with continuous improvement in manufacturing standards and quality performance. You will be based within their Derry/L'Derry plant and will work on average 42 hours per week on a rota basis (07.00-19.00 & weeks of days and 2 weeks of night duty. Main responsibilities: Ensure safe working practices are always adhered to- PPE, knowledge of health and safety procedures, record keeping. Perform random in-process inspection cross manufacturing processes. Perform first piece approval where required. Perform pallet release. Escalation of any Quality Expectations to shift quality lead. Labelling of suspect product. Carry out particle testing in clean room. Supports traceability activities. Measuring BD end of batch samples. Essential Criteria: Qualifications in Math and English. Previous manufacturing experience. Ability to work independently or collaboratively. Positive mental attitude and friendly demeanour.
