Location: Commutable from, Maidstone, Rainham, Gillingham, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne and surrounding areas Company: We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a prestigious precision manufacturing organisation based in Kent. This is a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment where each small improvement can have a real impact on the performance and success of the business. Responsibilities: As the Quality Inspector your main duties will be to ensure that our Quality Management Systems are adhered to and that all products produced are correct to drawing. The role will also include: * Ensuring all measuring equipment is regularly calibrated, as per the company’s calibration schedule, and kept in a good working order. * Take responsibility for all first off checks on machined components. * To patrol inspect, ensuring that the machine operators are correctly checking the critical dimensions with the right equipment. * Mentor junior members of staff on the correct handling and reading of inspection equipment such as micrometres and calliper gauges. * Take responsibility for final inspection on all parts before they are booked into stock or despatched to customers / suppliers.
