Reporting directly to the Production control systems Engineering Manager you will work in a high-profile function of Baker Hughes supporting the introduction of new technology.As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:Supporting the design and development of Subsea Controls system using a Systems Engineering-based approached and conducting requirements management and analysis activitiesDelivering updates to system model Creating and maintaining requirement specifications Production of design review material and Functional Design SpecificationAssessing and categorizing new technology and products to satisfy requirements and overall system design intentConducting derivation of system features for incorporation within the design as well as definition and documentation of system interfaces and of the System Service TaxonomySupporting the definition of the Verification & Validation for the project and support the generation of design verification evidenceUnderstanding and implementation of Material selection and Corrosion protection Philosophy suitable for the target environmentEnsuring designs mature in a controlled manner through the use a robust technical change control and impact assessment processSupporting the definition and delivery of the System Integration Test and Acceptance phasesFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have Stems Engineering experience using ISO-15288 or equivalent processesHave technical management experience within the System Engineering disciplinePossess technical expertise of technologies associated with communications and large-scale enterprise management systemsPossess technical expertise of technologies associated with control systemsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Flexible working hours with the opportunity to work from home once per week.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
