As the Transactional Finance Manager you will be the key leader linking the Global Finance function together and ensuring Monthly deadlines and indications to Senior management. You will play a key part to Senior Stakeholders to influence business decisions to support the business achieve its strategic financial objectives and delivering correct and up to date financial information for the wider teams reports.

Responsibilties:

  • Managing a team of 3 across UK and US (Account Receivable + Accounts Assistants)
  • Within your team: Assist in the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements of stores across US, Australia and Europe
  • Key areas focusing across Accounts Receivable: Wholesale, Corporate Sales and Franchisees
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities
  • Maintain and enforce company policies
  • Lead global monthly financial close process
  • Manage and review worked performed by direct reports
  • Establish, maintain and document internal and external controls within areas of responsibility
  • Participate in the implementation and development of finance/accounting systems

Education and experience required

  • Qualified Accoutant / QBE
  • Experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience USGAAP
  • Experience managing International teams
  • Strong motivation and persistence to achieve results
  • Honesty, reliability, and careful consideration in decision-making processes
  • Capable of working at pace whilst maintaining accuracy of work
  • Problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritise own and team workloads
  • Effective delegation and development of team members
