We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join one of the leading food manufacturers in the UK.
An innovative and ever-growing business, this company is investing in their sites and employees throughout the country – maybe it’s time you considered joining the family
Key Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list)
- Presentation of the weekly P&L, KPI’s & monthly board pack to Senior Leadership Teams
- Assist with preparing annual budgets & quarterly reforecasts
- Management and development of the Finance, Sales Admin & IT teams
- Preparing monthly VAT returns, cash flows and CAPEX forecasts
- Maintaining finance system and factory ERP information and related reporting dashboards
- Managing the year-end audit & internal audits
Job Related Experience Required
- Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools & techniques
- Excellent level of attendance, timekeeping, and problem solving skills
Training Required
- Level 3 in Health & Safety (IOSH or equivalent)
- Group and Site inductions
- Hazards & Near Miss reporting
- Accident Investigation training
- Level 3 in Food Safety (minimum)
