Dance Teacher

Randstad are looking for a full time Dance Teacher for a Successful secondary school based in the Maghull area of Sefton.

The role & Responsibilities

Knowledge of physical education, and impact on child development

• Understanding of how the human body works
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to develop positive relationships with a range of people
• Ability to work in a team, as well as use your own initiative
• Enthusiasm for your subject to inspire and motivate students to take part in sport - not everyone is as keen as you are
• Ability to prepare students for exams
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Class management and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
• Patience and humour

REQUIREMENTS- Hold a relevant degree and a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTsand overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply)- Be passionate about teaching and your subject- Have excellent communication skills- Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to a school- Have proven classroom management skills- Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
