Live-In Lifestyle / Care Assistant for a Sociology Uni Student We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a university student, who is based in Southampton studying a Sociology Degree. She is looking for a like-minded Care Assistant to provide her personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adults life. Start:ASAP Rota:7 days on / 7 days off (Saturday 12PM to Saturday 12PM) Location:Southampton Solent (term time)/Hertfordshire, WD3 (off term) Pay:£200 per shift / £1,400 per week worked Free accommodation whilst on shift Holidays:5.6 weeks holiday pro rata A Clean Automatic Driving licence is required to drive the client's adapted vehicle. About the Job This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in our clients life. She is awonderful individual, looking for a like-mindedindividual to assist her with: - Personal Care - Health Care - Social Support - Daily Living - Housekeeping / Domestic duties - Commuting Care experience is not required as full training of our client's particular requirementswill be provided. About our Client Our client has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and as a result, is a full-time wheelchair user. She is currently studying Sociology at Southampton Solent University. In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys socialising and going out with her friends, whether it's for food, concerts, or a bit of retail therapy. She loves Pop music and is a bubbly, happy person, who is looking for someone with similar interests to hers. As written by our client .. In spare time I like going partying with your friends, I love Pop music. I like eating all foods but pasta is my favourite. I would describe myself funny, caring, and energetic and I am looking to recruit a team of PAs that can support me at home and then eventually uni (Southampton). Qualities I am looking for: -Friendly -Good sense of humour -Same interests Important things: - Its important that you are willing to help me socialise and accompany me to clubs/pubs, concerts, dinner with friends etc. - I need someone who will respect my privacy because sometimes I will want to be alone or with friends.
