The Role of a Pharmacy Accuracy Checker Technician

As a valued member of the Paydens team your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out thorough final checks of all dispensed medications verifying their accuracy against prescriptions and ensuring they meet all legal and pharmacological standards.
  • Collaborating closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to uphold and enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues in dispensing practices providing constructive feedback to improve processes.
  • Staying abreast of all relevant changes in pharmacy legislation guidelines and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of comprehensive pharmacy records aiding in both dispensing accuracy and audit processes.
  • Supporting the ongoing training and development of pharmacy staff with a focus on dispensing accuracy and safety protocols.
