Assistant Site Manager Main Contractor Wakefield Full time, Permanent £30,000 - £40,000 per year A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of social housing refurbishment works. You’ll assist in coordinating daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their site leadership career. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the running of day-to-day site activities from start through to handoverSupervise trades, monitor progress and quality, and ensure compliance with specificationsCarry out regular safety checks and help maintain a strong health & safety cultureAssist with materials control and liaise with procurement teamsBuild and maintain positive relationships with residents, site teams and project stakeholdersProvide accurate updates to internal teams and contribute to smooth project deliveryWork collaboratively with customer service colleagues to resolve queries promptlySkills & Experience RequiredSolid understanding of construction processes and site coordinationStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilityConfident communicator, able to engage with residents and contractorsWell organised with good attention to detailComputer literate with the ability to manage basic site documentationAwareness of building regulations and compliance requirementsA team-focused approachSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary dependent on experiencePension contributionLife assuranceOptional private healthcareAdditional financial and wellbeing benefitsIf interested please feel free to get in touch with James at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208967 or via email at james.glover@servicecare.org.uk
