Role Overview:

As a Recruitment Consultant on a new perms desk, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development within the environmental and sustainability fields. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and securing successful placements. As this is a new desk the position will be 100% new business development initially until you build a database of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and engage with potential clients within the environmental and sustainability sectors.
  • Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs, and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging trends.
  • Negotiation:Negotiate terms.
  • Networking: Attend industry events and build a network of professionals within the environmental and sustainability sectors.

Requirements:

  • Recruitment Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, particularly within perms, is essential.
  • Sector Knowledge: A genuine interest in environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-Driven: Motivated by achieving targets and making a positive impact.
