Job Summary

We are on the lookout for an experienced Power Platform Developer with an acute focus on Power Pages. The successful candidate will help play a large role within an award-winning, small Microsoft consultancy start-up team, with opportunities for career development and progression.

Job Description

The Microsoft Power Platform and Power Pages Developer will be responsible for creating highly functional and visually compelling solutions using Microsoft Power Pages, with a strong emphasis on custom branding and advanced scripting. The role demands a creative individual who has extensively branded Power Pages using CSS and has hands-on experience with JavaScript.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Pages, Dataverse and Power BI.
  • Design and develop robust solutions using Microsoft Power Pages and Power Apps, focusing on superior user experience and custom functionality.
  • Deliver at least two portals using Microsoft Power Pages, demonstrating comprehensive design and functionality.
  • Create and apply custom branding to Power Pages using advanced CSS techniques to align with corporate branding guidelines.
  • Develop custom PCF controls and utilise portal Web API for complex integrations.
  • Implement dynamic functionalities and interactive elements using JavaScript within Power Pages environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications that leverage the full capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Ensure optimal performance and usability across solutions by implementing best practices in coding and design.
  • Provide support and documentation for all developed applications.



Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Pages.
  • Power Apps “responsive” design developmental knowledge.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Liquid templating for Power Pages customisation.
  • Ability to build and deploy custom PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
  • Experience with JavaScript for interactive elements. • Familiarity with Web APIs and Custom Connectors.
  • Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for smooth deployment processes.
  • Experience with Power Apps Test Studio or other Power Platform testing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform CLI for managing development processes.
  • Experience working with Entra ID and additional Azure Services for managing authentication and access control.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.



Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications highly preferable (PL-200, PL-400).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing dynamic and interactive features using JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge on Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
  • API Integration knowledge essential.
  • Dynamics 365 knowledge desirable but not essential.
  • Strong familiarity with Azure Services (App Registration, Entra ID, API Management etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or any related field.
  • Eligibility for SC clearance.
