
Staff Nurse

As a Nurse at Lyca Health, no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside a diverse team of specialists, interacting with a wide variety of patients and clinicians. This role offers you the opportunity to utilise the full range of your nursing skills, delivering exceptional care across different areas of our services, including our Outpatient clinic and our operating theatre.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and dependable—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can build and maintain positive working relationships.
This role is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of excellent, evidence-based nursing care for patients at all times.
- Act as a facilitator, providing help and support to visiting Consultants, Clinicians, and Practitioners.
- Assist in the safe, efficient, and elective management of both outpatient and theatre services within allocated resources.
- Deliver outstanding care in theatres, supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative journey.
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, carers, and other staff, overcoming barriers to understanding and providing support during distressing or emotional events.
