Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Location: Ipswich Salary: £60-£70k + package Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the financial management of commercial construction projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest quality, while building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and drive commercial excellence across high-value projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects, ensuring budgets, forecasts, and valuations are accurate and up to date. Manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with performance and financial criteria. Prepare and deliver precise reports on project costs, progress, and end-of-life financial expectations. Monitor project timelines and scope changes, documenting and costing adjustments as required. Support the pre-contract team, contributing to bids and future commercial opportunities. Lead and mentor junior or assistant quantity surveyors, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.
