HGV Mechanic - Lisburn Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm with Saturdays on a rota Our client is a long-established and highly respected transport company with over 50 years of experience in the transport and cold chain industry.With a large fleet of Trucks & Trailers, we are recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join the fleet workshop team, ensuring vehicles and trailers are maintained to a high standard and road worthy. Competitive salary in the £39 - 41k range.You'll be joining a progressive forward thinking company who are continually investing in their people and facilities. The RoleConduct routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairsDiagnose and resolve faults to ensure vehicle reliability and complianceFit and replace vehicle parts as requiredAttend roadside breakdowns when necessaryMaintain accurate service and repair documentationEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standardsCommunicate progress and repair updates with the transport and management teamsWhat we are looking forLevel 3 in HGV Repair or equivalent (Light Vehicle / Plant) Minimum 2-3 years' experience working on heavy vehicles or trucks & trailers Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical components and diagnostics HGV driving licence is desirable but ...
