Benefits include, salary up to £60,000, Hybrid working, Healthcare plan and your birthday off each year. Our client works with many of the world’s leading Enterprise customers, including, Google, Amazon, Netflix, Astra Zeneca, Citibank & Facebook to name a few.Job Summary:In support of business growth, they have a vacancy for a PMO Manager to lead the EMEA PMO Team of Project Co-Ordinator’s & Analysts, (both on-shore & off-shore).The role will hold overall responsibility for the delivery of a range of services to the EMEA Business & its Project Management Teams.The successful candidate will also be pivotal in forming and delivering a strategy to provide direct support to Project Management Teams in their day-to-day activity, including the transition to new working practices which will be required for the approaching ERP migration, (Q3/4).The role will hold line management responsibility for both on and off-shore team members, with process ownership will remain with the EMEA PMO in the UK, providing day to day support and escalation capability to the offshore team.The successful applicant will also be key in driving continual improvement across the services delivered using KPI’s and Metrics to provide visibility of performance across all service, (this may be via the maintenance of existing measures).Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Day to day team/line management of all onshore PMO team members in line with the business prescribed management framework.

  • Hold overall responsibility for the services & outputs delivered by the EMEA PMO
  • Work to ensure that existing services are delivered as defined.
  • Identify and implement suitable governance measures to the EMEA portfolio of projects.
  • Identify and implement appropriate Quality Assurance measures to the EMEA portfolio of projects.
  • Provide initial point of escalation for internal customers and PMO team members.
  • Ensure all process and procedural documentation is maintained in line with any service evolution.
  • Work toward continual improvement for all services identifying opportunity to enhance, expand or increase efficiency wherever possible.
  • Cross skill PMO team (onshore & offshore) installing resilience into every aspect of the PMO’s service portfolio.
  • Effectively manage changes in demand alongside team members training, development, holiday & sickness.
  • Work directly with Project Leads, driving the definition & launch of improvement initiatives into the Project Management work streams.
Education/Certifications:
  • Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience.
Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:Mandatory
  • 5+ years’ experience of working in a project focussed environment.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory, team lead or line management role
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with MS Office suite of software products with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Numeric and the ability to work with and interpret numeric data.
  • Process driven and able to follow predefined ways of working.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill
