What this role is all about:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Working on product and project driven change across a number of technologies, you will be responsible for creating test frameworks and automated tests to ensure all features and functions undergo rigorous testing and are fit for purpose and meet acceptance criteria. The role holder will have great test automation skills and will work under the guidance and support from the Senior and Principal Test Engineers.Key Actions
  • Writing high-quality feature files using BDD syntax at a story or feature level.
  • Creation and maintenance of reusable automation test frameworks and building of automated test artifacts.
  • Ensures Vitality’s testing standards are followed, and that test automation and regression packs are maintained.
  • Responsible for ensuring all features and functions undergo system and system integration testing prior to release.
  • Actively removes blockers for test execution and escalates where needed.
  • Contributes to test plans, progress reports and end of stage reports as required.
  • Attends all Scrum Ceremonies required to actively contribute to the sprint cycle.
  • The Automation Test Engineer will participate in the Test Automation Community of Practice and contribute to best practice documentation.
  • Collaborating with others with a "can do" attitude to review specifications and using these agreed specifications to test effectively and efficiently using the right standards and tools.
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM and SAFe)
  • Practical experience configuring Salesforce (coded and declarative)
  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including security model (permissions & sharing)
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components and Flows
