Senior Software Engineer – C++ - Real-time control systems – Birmingham £55-70K - Automotive - CANBus

This role is to lead on the development of a distributed software design for control modules. This role will lead not only on design, testing and compliance to UK & International standards. You will be pivotal in the control systems engineering. This role will work alongside a Senior Power Systems Design Engineer & Embedded Software Engineers in the creation of the system. The role would suit a candidate that has worked on a product controlled though CAN bus. Experience within the automotive industry along with familiarity or control systems for engine management, transmission, or fluid control etc would be very beneficial.

Key Work Activities: Responsibilities include for designing the software system architecture, validating its design, development and execution of test plans through to product type approval. Proficient in C++ programming. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a software engineering or a related field.
