Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer with a focus on Road Safety to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of key statutory functions aimed at reducing road traffic collisions and proactively managing the highway network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road safety and will possess expertise in the field of traffic management.Key Responsibilities:Undertake road safety education initiatives and campaignsExperience working with TROsImplement measures to reduce road traffic collisionsConduct regular inspections of the highway network to identify potential hazardsDevelop and implement road safety policies and proceduresCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsProvide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and staffPrepare reports and presentations on road safety initiatives and outcomesStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in road safetyJob Requirements:Significant experience in the field of road safetyStrong understanding of traffic management principles and methodologiesProven ability to develop and implement road safety initiativesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and presentation abilitiesProficiency in relevant software and toolsQualification in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineRelevant certifications in road safety and traffic managementIf you are a highly skilled Senior Engineer with a strong background in road safety and traffic management, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organization in the HTP sector.
