A leading business in Bristol is seeking a talented BI Developer / SQL Developer to join their dynamic and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that is undergoing significant transformation and growth in their data infrastructure.

This is a pivotal time to join our client's team as they focus on enhancing their data infrastructure. As a BI Developer, you will be instrumental in providing valuable insights and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dashboard and Report Creation: Develop insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring efficient data movement across the tech stack.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • ETL Process Design: Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Data Integration and Migration: Perform data integration and migration tasks to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to manipulate and query data using SQL.
  • ETL Experience: Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Data Visualization: Proficient in data visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a business-facing approach.
  • Data Integration and Migration: Proven experience in data integration and migration.

Desirable Skills:

  • Azure Services: Familiarity with Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
