A school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to nurture and inspire pupils in their academic and personal development as they prepare for their transition to upper Key Stage 2. This role begins ASAP.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
Assess, track, and support student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, school trips, and whole-school initiatives.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning.
Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate pupils of all abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
