Based in Colchester, we are recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance/Warehouse Operative to join our client's team. As a leading organisation, they offer a temporary to permanent contract, providing stability and potential for growth.

If you are a motivated individual with a desire to contribute to a thriving warehouse operation, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle/unloading lorries with deliveries.
  • Support with loading.
  • Using inventory management system to manage stock.
  • Ensure stock is stored in the correct areas.
  • Prepare orders.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse and yard
  • Working closely with all other warehouse members and office staff.
  • Maintain H&S on site.

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift truck licence -Counterbalance Essential
  • Experience in stock control
  • Dangerous goods training is preferred but not essential.

Skills:

  • Excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of relevant IT packages
