Global Accounting Network are partnered exclusively with a successful and well-established family run business in the Dagenham area to recruit for a permanent Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their existing finance team. This is a great supporting role for somebody with some previous accounting experience to enhance their knowledge and capabilities in a finance setting.

This Purchase Ledger Assistant job will involve taking responsibility for administrative tasks to support the purchase ledger function including but not limited to chasing PO's, matching delivery notes, dealing with invoice queries, liaising internally with other teams, supporting with processing payment runs, dealing with telephone enquiries and other ad-hoc support as the finance team require. The responsibilities may grow with time, in line with experience.

The ideal candidate for this Purchase Ledger Assistant job will have exceptional organisational skills, previous experience in an accounting role, a desire to work in a busy finance role, may be studying towards AAT or an equivalent qualification, or could be somebody with broader accounting experience but a keenness to work in a role focussed on purchase ledger maintenence. This will suit somebody local to Dagenham ideally, with the chance to fit working hours around existing commitments where necessary.
