Job Overview:

The Research Delivery Manager is responsible for helping to select, lead and manage the delivery of high-quality research projects that align with our client’s needs and our strategic vision. This role ensures the seamless execution of research strategies, from planning through to implementation, to provide actionable insights that support our clients' long-term growth goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Research Projects: oversee the end-to-end delivery of research projects, ensuring they meet the company's high standards for quality, timeliness, and impact. This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, and managing timelines.
  • Client Engagement: build strong, trusted relationships with clients. Act as the secondary point of contact, supporting the customer success manager in providing regular updates on project progress, and ensuring clients are informed and satisfied with the services provided.
  • Team Leadership: lead the team by providing a collaborative and innovative team environment. Offer guidance and mentorship to ensure the delivery of insightful, actionable research. 
  • Quality Assurance: implement standardised processes and methodologies for research delivery to ensure consistency, reliability, and excellence in all outputs. Regularly review client feedback and project outcomes to refine and enhance research processes.
  • Strategic Planning: work closely with senior management to align research activities with the company’s vision and mission. Contribute to the development of strategic plans that focus on delivering exceptional value to our clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve research processes, tools, and methodologies. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Financial Management: manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on budget. Track financial performance and contribute to the financial planning and analysis for the research department.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience(at least 4 years) in managing research projects or in a similar role within a consulting or research environment.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and their application in a business context.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring for, managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets and resources.
  • A proactive and strategic thinker, capable of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
