This is a key role focused on ensuring service availability, performance, and cost-efficiency across both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.You'll work closely with development and support teams to evolve infrastructure, enhance observability, and proactively mitigate reliability risks.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with software engineers to improve reliability and performanceAutomate operational tasks and reduce alert fatigueEnhance monitoring and observability to pre-empt issuesSupport development environments to meet delivery goalsEvaluate tools and technologies to guide build vs. buy decisionsDevelop expertise across technical and business domainsRequired Skills & Experience:Strong experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)Proficiency with TerraformHands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift)CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., Jenkins)Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ...
