Cover Supervisors Needed in Bromley

At Engage, we’re working to recruit full-time or part-time cover supervisors who can work across a multitude of secondary schools in Bromley.

About the role

You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at schools in Bromley. This school is all about innovation and creating a well-balanced learning environment for the students.

You will receive training provided by the school and Engage Education and will be a part of a close and dynamic team. This role has very little planning and marking. This is a good opportunity to work at a school that is very supportive and whose core principles are to challenge, evolve and nurture pupils.

About you

  • Experience working with students aged 11-16

  • Flexibility to work on different subjects

  • Confident managing behaviour

  • An ability to build rapport with students

  • Have a fun but firm presence

  • An interest in education

We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage. If you are an aspiring teacher, or an experienced cover supervisor looking for a position, this opportunity could be ideal for you. This role could also suit a candidate with experience of working as a Youth Worker or Behaviour Mentor.
