As the Interim Lecturer in Sport at The Further Education College, you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, including teaching and assessing various courses within your subject area, serving as a course tutor for student groups, and ensuring quality assurance and improvement processes.


Responsibilities:

  • To support the College’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives;

Particular to the post:

  • To teach BTEC sports, CYQ Level 2&3 and/or Academy/Enrichment coaching
  • To prepare teaching materials
  • To prepare a scheme of work, to maintain records of students’ progress and to assess students’ work
  • To attend course team meetings
  • To participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the learning programmes and to provide relevant information to management
  • To implement policies and procedures, including the College’s Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies
