Salesforce Solutions Architect / Salesforce Enterprise Architect


Remote in the UK –Up to £100k per annum + benefits


We are looking for a Salesforce Solutions Architect / Salesforce Enterprise Architect to join an extremely successful SAAS scale up that is now a leading provider of business email signature management solutions.


This person will lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet the strategic business needs. This role combines advanced Salesforce technical expertise with a strategic, enterprise-level approach to guide the design and optimization of Salesforce solutions across the organization.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to create scalable, innovative Salesforce architectures that enhance productivity, customer engagement, and business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect Salesforce Solutions: Lead the design and development of Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring they align with the overall enterprise architecture and support business objectives.
  • Define Technical Strategy: Develop and communicate a Salesforce roadmap and strategy that support current and future business needs. Ensure alignment with overall IT strategy and business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to understand requirements, define needs, and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions.
  • Design Scalable Systems: Design Salesforce architecture that is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. Work with integration partners to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • Solution Governance: Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and guidelines for Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation across the organization.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce trends and updates, identifying opportunities to implement new features, improve processes, and maximize the effectiveness of Salesforce solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Salesforce team.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and solution testing to ensure quality and performance meet organizational standards.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation on solution architecture and technical specifications. Provide training to users and staff on new processes, features, and system updates.


Required Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and development, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect (or similar) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and security principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse business needs, problem-solve, and recommend Salesforce solutions that support strategic business goals.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
