Our leading client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Product Owner to join their expanding team. As a Data Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing data-driven products within the organization. Your role will involve defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the vision and strategy for data products, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • KPI Trees and Data Dictionary: Define KPI trees, metrics, and create a comprehensive data dictionary.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data products adhere to data governance policies and best practices, maintaining data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of data products, using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define product features, and ensure successful delivery.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, data management, and data governance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field preferred.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Experience with Alteryx or Databricks.
