You'll be working closely with senior traders, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the desk with a mix of daily tasks, strategic projects, and process improvements. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Handling day-to-day operational tasks in collaboration with middle office, corporate action teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Supporting equity capital markets activities, including managing booking processes, conversions, and the launch of new issues.
  • Monitoring deal announcements and assisting with adjustments related to Risk Arbitrage strategies.
  • Acting as the first line of support for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and escalating critical concerns as needed.
  • Contributing to various projects aimed at streamlining processes, automating tasks, and enhancing trading tools.
  • Preparing regular reports on trading activities and key performance metrics.
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new counterparties and maintaining strong operational relationships.
  • Managing market and FX exposures throughout the trading day to ensure balanced positions.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Someone who's curious, analytical, and eager to dive into the world of trading operations.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in trading operations, middle office, or a related field, with a relevant degree (finance, economics, math, engineering, or computer science preferred).
  • You're passionate about financial markets and have a solid understanding of trading instruments.
  • You have experience with a programming language like Python, R, or SQL, and you're comfortable using it to analyze data or automate tasks.
  • You're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can handle pressure with ease.
  • Strong communication skills are key—you'll be working with various teams, from traders to analysts, and need to be able to articulate complex issues clearly.
