We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Merthyr Tydfil to assist with the appointment of a Customer Services Advisor on a 2.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: 13.69 - 17.41 per hour Responsibilities: Provide high-quality customer service via telephone email and in person.Respond to public and internal enquiries promptly accurately and professionally.Maintain and update administrative records databases and filing systems.Support the processing of applications forms and payments as required.Assist in the preparation of reports correspondence and documentation for the team. Requirements: Good literacy and numeracy skills.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook).Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.A customer-focused attitude with patience and empathy. Experience:Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (preferred).Experience using databases and record-keeping systems.Experience working in a local government or public-facing environment is desirable.
