For this role you will be working with children 7 – 19 years old with Autism, you must adapt lessons to their individual needs and communicate strongly with the children. For this English & Performing Arts Teacher you must hold QTS, have strong subject knowledge and will be reporting back to the head of department. You will be required to plan, deliver and assess lessons while being assisted by Teaching Assistants in the class.The school – ASD SchoolThis school is an ASD school based in Wandsworth that caters for students aged 7 – 19 years old with Autism. They continuously review their skilfully tailored education and therapeutic support, to ensure they meet everyone developing needs and guide students to develop the educational, social and life skills for a happy and fulfilling future. Their simple school layout to avoid confusion and small classes enabling staff to provide their intensive support that helps young people to develop and progress.
