Role: 

Working closely with the Operations Manager you will take a lead role in health and safety compliance across the academy and ensure staff are appropriately trained where required. You will have management responsibility in ensuring the academy develops systems and processes that maintain a high standard of premises management and maintenance. 

You will effectively lead and manage contractors and capital works, ensuring work is carried out to the work specification and delivered within agreed time parameters. You will also have line management responsibility for the site team including managing performance, allocation and monitoring of work, and establishing high standards of expectation.

You will assist the Operations Manager in planning, monitoring, and evaluating site repairs and maintenance, health and safety budgets, applying cost reduction initiatives and best value principles, whilst adhering to the trust's financial policies.

You will also have the opportunity to a lead role on ensuring a first aid provision is established and in addition take an advisory role in supporting staff with the completion of risk assessments.
