Due to internal promotions/reductions in working hours, we currently have two Teachers of Science positions available. 

We have a fixed term and a permanent position. The fixed term position is to cover a vacancy pending a permanent appointment. These posts are both full time.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science to join our team as soon as possible. Science is a strength at St Peter’s where students enjoy a rich and varied curriculum. They achieve very high results and consistently make excellent progress.

You will be expected:
• to be able to teach Key Stage 3 Science;
• to be able to teach Key Stage 4 Chemistry/Physics/Biology;
• to have excellent classroom management skills;
• to have an engaging style of teaching that can inspire and motivate all levels of ability.

As a Church of England Aided School, in cases of equal merit preference will be given to candidates who are in sympathy with the foundation.

This role requires a DBS disclosure.
