Midday Supervisor

Bere Regis Primary & Pre-School has a permanent vacancy for an enthusiastic, responsible and friendly lunchtime supervisor to join our existing team ASAP.

The role involves providing high quality supervision to ensure the safety and general welfare of our pupils during the lunchtime period. You will be required to assist with setting up and clearing away of tables, benches and lunches, basic cleaning duties and the supervision of children, when inside eating and outside on the playground.

The post is for 5 hours per week across Monday to Friday, between 12.00pm and 1.00pm.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Keeping Children Safe in Education

The Trust will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
