SPA Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you ready to make a difference and play a pivotal role in one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to help us deliver a resilient water future for the East of England.
What You'll Do
As our new SQS, you'll:
- Act as the commercial conscience of your projects, ensuring they're delivered under budget to boost gainshare.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to follow the Anglian Water Procurement Policy and implement best practices.
- Provide commercial support and training for delivery teams, covering areas like risk management, contract management, and change control.
- Manage subcontract accounts from initial drafting to payment and finalization.
- Lead value management efforts, including cost forecasting and earned value analysis, to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Drive supply chain negotiations and contract drafting alongside procurement teams.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated leader with:
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale civil, mechanical, and infrastructure projects.
- A proactive approach to digital innovation and continuous improvement in commercial management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge scope and accountability.
- Leadership skills to inspire, develop, and support a regional commercial team.
- Expertise in forecasting, cost management, and change control processes
