About the apprenticeship

Duties

Duties will include job shadowing a member of the company to learn the welding skills and methods needed to complete your apprenticeship. You will be working with metals and tools, therefore a mature attitude and awareness of health and safety responsibilities is essential and will be taught. Involvement with structural steel work, fire escapes, metal staircases, steel buildings and railings. Other labouring and general duties also to be carried out as required, e.g. maintaining a clean and tidy work area in line with health & safety working practices. Whilst in full-time employment you will undertake the following qualifications:

Additional information

Before applying for this position please ensure you are able to travel to and from the place of employment in Bridgend and to the XR Training Centre in Pyle once a week. You will be employed full-time as an Apprentice Fabricator Welder by this company based in Barry. You will be enrolled onto a level 2 apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication.
