Housing Operations are seeking candidates to apply for this interesting and varied roleleading and supervising the Weekend Caretaking Team and assisting in the supervision of a comprehensive Caretaking Service to the tenants and residents of West Dunbartonshire Council.
As the Senior Caretaker you will lead the part time Housing Caretakers carrying out essential inspections and upkeep of our High Rise Multi Storey Housing Stock. The Senior Caretaker will ensure that buildings are kept safe and free from hazards during weekend periods by orchestrating the activities of team members, including spot cleaning of lifts and foyers, inspection of landings and back stairways, management of waste receptacles and removal of hazardous items. Responsibilities include the line management and HR duties for the part time team. The Senior Caretaker will also work alongside the colleagues providing the same service operating Monday to Friday.
