Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Considerable project experience in large marine transport and installation (T&I) projects, preferably in EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) projects.
  • Familiarity with offshore construction programs and typical durations for foundation installation activities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Experience with CDM projects, HSE audits, risk assessments, and method statement production.
  • Understanding of port infrastructure, marine operations, and offshore construction supply chains.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., DNV, ISO, European Standards, ISPS).
  • Excellent knowledge of offshore installation equipment, including lifting aids, pile installation tools, grouting equipment, and subsea construction tools.
  • Proficiency in temporary steel structural design, rigging design, and relevant marine operation codes.
  • Familiarity with various installation vessel types (floating crane vessels, jack-up vessels, HTVs, towed barges).

Activities

  • Work closely with the Project team to develop logistics and construction solutions for all stages of foundation installation.
  • Provide technical governance by capturing supply chain information related to installation equipment specifications and operational requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing offshore construction activities by understanding vessel operations, ancillary equipment, and watercraft constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical, interface, project controls, HSE, and quality roles.
  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) rules and requirements.
