Please Note: While the initial focus will be on delivering services in Angus, if funding is not secured beyond 31/03/25, the role may require working out of Dundee. We are committed to supporting our staff through any transitions and ensuring continuity of service delivery. The closest OPFS office for this role is located in Dundee, but the majority of the work will take place in the field in Angus (specific focus on Arbroath and Forfar).

OPFS was founded in and since then we have been at the forefront of shaping policy and services that support the , single parent families in Scotland. OPFS HQ is in central Edinburgh, there are local services in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Falkirk, Edinburgh and Dundee with National digital and helpline services.

The Employability Support Worker will be responsible to the Regional Coordinator / Employment Lead and will work as a member of OPFS Employability Service, to provide employability services for single parents in Angus / Dundee to support them to secure employment, education or training.

All roles at OPFS contribute to our mission of working with and for single parent families, providing support that enables them to achieve their potential and helping to create lasting solutions to poverty and barriers facing single parents and their children.
