This a full-time position; 36 hours per week; Monday to Friday; Based at our client’s Bredbury office; Salary is up to £30, 000 PA, DOE.

Our client is recruiting for a Buyer to join their small but busy team. You will have the opportunity to be developed and given autonomy to make the job your own. You will be responsible for managing their website ranges – selecting new product to launch as well as providing analysis for further range development.
You will be responsible for managing intake pricing for ready-bought product, as well as getting involved with the supplier database; identifying new opportunities for cost saving as well as audience growth. As well as this, managing stock levels and ensuring their range is appealing to their customers.
The ideal person would have done retail buying (either shop or eCommerce) and be comfortable with analysis and range building. You will need to be organized, as well as having a good understanding of priority management.
You will need strong communication skills to liaise clearly with key stakeholders, as well as an enthusiastic approach to multi-tasking. As well as this, a quick-thinking mentality and a problem-solving attitude is essential. Working in a fast-moving environment you must stay calm under pressure, be adaptable and stay focused on achieving the company’s goals.
You will already have a comprehensive understanding of range planning, data analysis and dealing with a varied supply base.
