The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of Physical Education (PE) from Year 7 through to BTEC Sport level 2, who also has a strong and confident general teaching ability, particularly in Science. It is important that applicants would be willing to participate in the full range of extra-curricular activities we offer as PE is a real strength of the College, much valued by pupils and parents.
In teaching Science as part of this role, you must be prepared to teach all three disciplines to GCSE level and be someone who can convey a passion for the study of this core subject area.
The Leadership Team are passionate about Continued Professional Development and performance management is built around self-assessment and professional portfolios.
The person appointed would thus be working within a successful supportive culture with plenty of opportunity to support the wider school community. This teacher must be a highly professional and committed team member.
