Job Summary

Temporary for 12 months.

We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

As part of North Ayrshire Council’s Modern Apprentice Recruitment Process if, following interview, you are chosen as a Preferred Candidate, you must complete a 1-week pre-employment Course with one of our Employability Partners, before being issued with a Conditional Offer of Employment.

The qualification to be achieved on completion of the Modern Apprenticeship is SCQF 5.

Modern Apprenticeship posts are open to all North Ayrshire Residents aged 16-19yrs old at commencement of employment

Exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Modern Apprentice in Business Administration. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with a nationally recognised qualification, where you will gain valuable work experience and opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support within the team, maintain databases, assist with customer enquiries via phone/e-mail, perform data entry and document processing tasks.
