Lead Quality Verification Engineer, Crewkerne, Permanent, GBP40K - GBP50K Mon - Fri

Our client, a leader in the field of power packs for use in the medical, defence, aerospace and computer industries are looking to recruit a Lead Quality Verification Engineer.

The Lead Quality Verification Engineer will be responsible for:

Managing the day-to-day activities and priorities of the QV Engineering team, Developing the skills and knowledge of the team, career path and succession planning. Act as the link between the Quality and Engineering Departments. Support management of gauge calibration. Understand fundamentals of measurement and associated analysis, i.e. MSA. Supporting the Purchasing and Quality Departments with supplier technical Issues

The ideal candidate will have:

BEng Hons degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, e.g. Engineering, Physics or related discipline. Ability to read and interpret design requirements, drawings and electronic circuits. Significant experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment. Experience of Product Part Approval Process (PPAP). A high level of attention to detail with previous experience of record-keeping for quality purposes and traceability. Verification and Validation test planning and reporting. Experience of managing a small team in a similar environment.
