About the apprenticeship

Duties

As a nursery practitioner/assistant you will work alongside our room leader and practitioners covering our toddler room, baby room and pre-school and you will deliver exceptional care and education to all children attending the setting. You and the nursery team will have flexibility and control over what you plan on a daily basis which should include taking children on outings in the local area such as trips to the park, local woods, Caldicot Castle, Library etc as part of their daily routine. You will also plan and deliver stimulating and educational activities and experiences within the setting and meet the daily care needs of the children attending.

We are a family owned childcare business with 2 small-medium settings in the centre of Caldicot. We pride ourselves on offering excellent care and education to children in a home from home environment. Our team of staff are our extended family and we wholeheartedly value the contributions our staff make to each child's individual progress and to the success of our nurseries.

Qualifications

We are looking for an apprentice or someone who is nearing the end of their training and will soon be qualified to Level 2 or 3. Ability to use own initiative.

Positive and can-do attitude
