School Business Manager

*The 28 hours per week can be spread over 4 days, by mutual agreement.

We are a successful Church of England Primary School of 320 children, in 13 classes, in the popular and attractive market town of Framlingham. 

We are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager who will work closely with the Headteacher and Governors on budget and financial strategies and be accountable for all matters relating to the school site and buildings.

You will have an understanding of FMS and SIMS schools’ management systems, an awareness of the mechanisms for school funding, and an ability to produce funding applications. You will also have some experience of Human Resources management in a school environment.

You will have a good understanding of premises and how to manage the day to day running of the site and to project manage small to larger jobs in line with the Head Teacher and Governors expectations. You will maintain the school site and liaise with the contractors to oversee the work.

You will be able to demonstrate good administrative skills to help with the day to day running of the office.

You should be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
