We’re looking for an experienced Digital Content Specialist to join our team for 13 months to cover a period of Maternity Leave. There is a possibility that this role may be extended or become permanent.

This is a hybrid role, so we are flexible on location. You will have the option to work both from home and your local FLS office. Travel to our Edinburgh office will be expected occasionally.

The digital team forms part of the wider Communications team which covers media, marketing design and digital – and bringing these together is important as we put communications at the heart of what we do.

You’ll work as part of a small in-house team to deliver innovative solutions across a variety of digital media, inspiring people to discover and enjoy our destinations and learn about the work we do to look after Scotland’s national forests and land. Your job will involve working with a variety of internal clients, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver digital content (including video, blogs, social media and webpages) from concept and design through to delivery.

To be successful, you’ll have demonstratable experience of creating engaging and optimised digital content, managing multiple social media accounts, and working collaboratively with internal clients. Experience providing training and support to internal clients is not essential but advantageous. You’ll also have excellent copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills and a degree, and/ or professional qualification relating to communications and/ or relevant experience.
