The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.

We have a vacancy for an Extended Schools Playworker

To start: As soon as possible

15 Hours per week, term time only Monday to Friday: Mornings 07:45 to 08:45: Afternoons 15:00 to 17:00

Initially, this post will be fixed term for one year

Salary: £22,737 pro rata (Actual Salary £7,928 per annum)

Someone who enjoys working with children and who can provide a warm, safe and fun environment at the beginning and end of each school day for our pupils who range in age from 4 – 11 years.

An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Playwork; A willingness to undertake First Aid Training; A commitment to providing fun, safe and nurturing provision in a calm environment; A commitment to your duty to safeguard our pupils.
