Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about inspiring young learners and supporting them to achieve their full potential? Roselands Primary School is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and nurturing school community.

Roselands Primary School is a friendly school which provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment where our pupils can develop into successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. Roselands Primary School is part of the Riviera Education Trust which is a multi-academy trust consisting of three local primary schools: Roselands Primary School, Shiphay Learning Academy and Oldway Primary School. We work in collaboration with Oldway Primary School and Shiphay Learning Academy in order to benefit all of the children in the Trust. Working in partnership with other schools helps to strengthen our provision and provide educational excellence so that every pupil has the best possible learning experience and is prepared for future life.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:

Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and creative in supporting learners. Committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for every child. Able to maintain high expectations for themselves and the children they work with. Flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs of different learners. Reflective and eager to develop their own practice. Equipped with a sense of humour and fun to thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment. Experienced in EYFS or KS1 (preferred but not essential). Experienced in supporting children, although training will be provided for those new to the role.


Criteria for the post:

Recent experience working with primary-aged pupils (preferred). English and Mathematics GCSE (minimum Grade C) or equivalent (essential). Additional relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ (preferred but not essential).
